Vietnamese designer to help Cuban beauty shine on world stage

"We have been admirer of your talent in creating beautiful garment...We would like to request for the possibility of Ms. Audrey Hieu Nguyen to sponsore for our delegate of Miss Grand Cuba for her international pageant." wrote Noemi Melendez, National Director of the Miss Cuba Organization in the letter sent to Audrey recently.

(VNF) - Young Vietnamese designer Audrey Hieu Nguyen recently received a letter from the Miss Cuba Organization to design evening gown for Cuban representative at the Miss Grand International 2017.

Miss Cuba Organization first knew about Audrey Hieu Nguyen since 2016, when the Vietnamese designer accompanied a Vietnamese contestant in the Miss Grand International 2016 taking place in US, and was impressed by her designing style.

According to Audrey, it was a fabulous surprise to her. The designer has accepted the invitation and promised to dedicate her best to create the most gorgeous costume to help Miss Grand Cuba shine on the stage on the global contest.

The Cuban beauty, Yvette Blaess, was delighted at hearing the news. She and Audrey immediately discussed with each other after being linked up by Neomi Melendez, and have agreed that the key colors for Yvette's dress will be yellow and blue, decorated with glittering Swarovski crystal.

Yvette Blaess is a mixed blood American - Cuban model, who is currently living in the USA. The 26-year-old lady is highly active in social work. She currently serves as Ambassador of the Protecting Children Foundation (US) and one of the honorary board member of the Dylexia Foundation, with the misson of supporting kids who are born with reading difficulty. Yvette is also working as an entrepreneur and public speaker.

She was one of the finalists in the Miss USA and Miss World USA 2016.

Yvette is recently appointed by the Miss Cuba Organization to represent the Carribean island in the Miss Grand International which will be hosted by Vietnam in October 2017./.
