Vietnamese, Lao air forces foster cooperation
(VNF) - Vietnamese and Lao air defence and air forces will step up delegation exchanges and cooperation in training and technology, said the Vietnam News Agency.
The agreement was reached at a recent working session between delegation from the Air Defense and Air Force Departments under the Lao People’s Army and the Vietnam’s Air Defence and Air Force High Command in Hanoi on December 26.

On behalf of the Laos' side, Senior Colonel Phaylat Phimmasak informed Gen. Giang of the outcomes of the working session with the Command of the Air Defense-Air Force Service of Vietnam. Accordingly, the two sides reviewed their cooperation achievements over the past time and discussed upcoming cooperation orientations with a focus on delegation exchanges, training, and technical cooperation.
Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, for his part, said that the leadership of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense (MND) always creates favorable conditions for the air defense-air force services of Vietnam and Laos to develop their cooperation in an effective manner and to serve each country’s defense-security cause./.
