Vietnam’s Weather Forecast (May 22): Heavy Rain Continues In Hanoi And The Northern Region
According to the Forecast Center, the Central and South Central regions, Central Highlands, and Southern regions will have heavy rain and thunderstorms with a rainfall of 20-40mm.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Localized heavy rain has the potential to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas.
In addition, in the North Central region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms with a rainfall of 10-20mm, in some places over 40mm.

The Northwest region: The weather forecast is predicted to be cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. The lowest temperature is 22-25 degrees. The highest temperature ranges from 29 to 32 degrees, in some places it is over 32 degrees.
The Northeast region: The weather is forecasted to be cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and night. Northeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees.
Da Nang – Binh Thuan: The weather will be cloudy and rainy heavily in the morning and afternoon, with thunderstorms in some places in the evening and night. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 25-28 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees.
Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather will be cloudy and sunny with intense heat during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.
