Vietnam’s Weather Forecast (May 7): Rainy Day Continues In The Northern Region

The forecast center predicts that the Northern and North Central regions will have showers and thunderstorms, with 20-40mm rainfall in some places over 80mm.

In the Central, Central Highlands, and Southern regions, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall from 15-30mm, in some places over 70mm on the night of May 6.

The forecast center warns that from the night of May 6 to May 9, there will be showers and thunderstorms in the Northern and North Central regions, with heavy rain locally.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Localized heavy rain has the potential to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas.

The Northwest region: The weather forecast is predicted to be cloudy and rainy, with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The lowest temperature is 22-25 degrees. The highest temperature ranges from 30 to 33 degrees, in some places above 33 degrees.

The Northeast region: The weather is forecasted to be cloudy and rainy, with showers and scattered thunderstorms in the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather will be cloudy and rainy, with showers and scattered thunderstorms in the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees in the North; and 31-34 degrees in the South.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: The weather will be cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night. East to southeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees.

The Central Highlands: The weather is forecasted to be cloudy and hot in some places, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees.
