The seven opponents the U.S. will play in a 14-game qualifying round are now known—and so is the path to Qatar.

While most of the U.S. men's national team’s first-choice players enjoy the afterglow of a wild win over Mexico and start their summer breaks, their road to next year’s World Cup has been mapped out.

Elsewhere in Concacaf, 29 lower-ranked countries have been competing this month for three available spots in the final round of World Cup qualifying, which will comprise eight teams for the first time. That competition ended Tuesday evening, with Canada, El Salvador and Panama emerging from the pack. They’ll join the U.S., Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras and Jamaica in the Octagonal, a double-round-robin gauntlet from which three nations will book passage to Qatar (a fourth will enter an intercontinental playoff). It begins with three games in early September.

FIFA has extended the television deal with Fox Sports and Telemundo. Fox Sports and the Spanish-language network Telemundo will telecast the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the USA, and viewers can watch live streaming of matches through Fox Sports official website and App. There are multiple options available if you want to watch FIFA World Cup 2022 matches live stream: You can watch Fox Sports (FS1) live without cable on fuboTV, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, AT&T TV Now, or YouTube TV.

After holding the English language broadcasting right of the WC games in United States for 20 years since 1994 to 2014 Brazil World Cup, ABC was replaced by FOX Sports network for the 2018 Russia WC. FOX acquired the right for next 3 editions, starting in 2018 which will come to an end after 2026 edition. Thus FOX Sports will continue to broadcast the 2022 WC games in US. The network will televise all the games live here in US in English language through FOX and FS1. Both the channels are pretty much familiar to the people in America. Just to dismiss your confusion, if you have any, the channels will be available via most of the cable TV providers. Just like the English language broadcasting, there has been a change in the Spanish language broadcaster channel in 2018. NBC’s Telemundo gained the right for the 2018, 2022 and 2026 edition which means the Spanish language users within the US territory will have to keep their eyes on Telemundo to enjoy the actions live in their language. Telemundo’s sister channel Universo is also expected to televise some of the fixtures. Meanwhile, NBCSN will simulcast the select matches. These channels too are pretty much familiar and will be available through majority of the cable TV providers as well as Dish Network and DirecTV satellites.
