Over the past days, the severe flood in the central region of Vietnam has caused a lot of damage, the most heartbreaking of which is the sacrifices of 13 officers and soldiers on the way to rescue missing people in the Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant.
Previously, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs proposed to the Prime Minister a "State Honorable" certificates, granting martyrs titles for 11 soldiers and 2 officers who died while performing their duties of rescuing missing people at Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant, Thua Thien - Hue.

According to the official dispatch of the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, while performing the task of rescuing missing people and overcoming the consequences of the flood and landslide at Rao Trang 3 Hydropower Plant (Xuan Phong commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien - Hue province), soldiers from the Department of Rescue and Military Region 4 bravely died on October 13.
The granted titles are to recognize the contributions of the officers who had passed away. At the same time, it also ensures the interests of families, promptly encourages the morale of cadres and soldiers to continue performing the task of rescuing, and overcoming consequences of natural disasters, to encourage the next generations to develop and defend the country.
