2,400 people in Dong Nai province get free healthcare
(VNF) - On November 14th, Hyosung Vietnam in cooperation with Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) provided free medical check-ups and medicines to around 2,400 people and disadvantaged children in Nhon Trach district’s Phuoc Thien and Long Tho communes.
This is the seventh time since 2011 the company and KFHI have dispatched its Medical Volunteer group “Smile Expedition” to provide free medical services to needy people.
This year's the program run for 4 days, about 2,400 people including local people, company employees and their relatives, especially the elderly, children, students of primary schools: Phuoc Thien, Long Tho and neighboring areas, were examined and counseled by Korean volunteer doctors and medical volunteers.
Hyosung Vietnam is a subsidiary of the Korean firm Hyosung Corp. It produces fibres of all kinds with a total investment of over USD 1.5 billion./.
