9th grade student wins writing contest “Denmark in your eyes”
Pham Tam Dan, 9th grade student in Nguyen Sieu School, won first prize in the contest “Denmark in your eyes”, receiving a 2 week scholarship program at Niels Brocks Business School, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In the afternoon of June 13th, Embassy of Denmark in Hanoi with Vietnam – Denmark Friendship Association (VIDAFA) held the awards presentation for the “2016 Denmark in your eyes writing contest”, and simultaneously announced the establishment of a network for Vietnamese and Danish students, which will host culture, education and business events.
This is the first time the writing contest “Denmark in your eyes” was held, arranged by the Embassy of Denmark and VIDAFA to celebrate 45 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The contest took place over 2 months (April- May 2016) and drew 50 entries from students of the three schools: Nguyen Sieu, Doan Thi Diem, and Vinschool.
Chairman of the Vietnam-Denmark Friendship Association Tran Hong Ha highlighted the contest as a practical event to celebrate 45 years of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
