The Vietnam-Algeria friendship continues to be affirmed by both sides as a valuable asset that should be preserved and promoted, based on a foundation of historical solidarity and shared support during past struggles for national independence.
Ambassador Tran Quoc Khanh was received by FLN Secretary-General Abdelkrim Benmbarek, together with members of the Party's leadership and representatives of veterans who participated in Algeria's struggle for independence. During the meeting, Secretary-General Abdelkrim Benmbarek highly appreciated the Ambassador's contributions throughout his tenure to promoting the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Algeria.

The FLN leadership emphasized that the solidarity between the peoples of the two countries was forged through their shared history of struggles against colonialism and all forms of oppression and domination. Building on this foundation, the two countries will continue working together toward the goals of peace, independence, prosperity, social justice, and sustainable development.
Secretary-General Abdelkrim Benmbarek affirmed the FLN's determination to continue fostering cooperative relations with Vietnam. He also stated that the FLN and the Communist Party of Vietnam would closely coordinate to effectively implement the Cooperation Agreement between the two Parties, thereby strengthening political trust and expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Ambassador Tran Quoc Khanh expressed his appreciation for the cooperation and support provided by the FLN leadership as well as Algerian agencies and organizations throughout his tenure, which created favorable conditions for promoting the traditional friendship between the two countries.
The Ambassador reaffirmed that Vietnam always attaches great importance to its friendship and cooperation with Algeria, one of Vietnam's key partners in Africa. He also expressed confidence that relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the FLN would continue to be strengthened, serving as an important political foundation for making bilateral relations increasingly substantive and effective.
On this occasion, Ambassador Tran Quoc Khanh expressed his hope to welcome FLN Secretary-General Abdelkrim Benmbarek to Vietnam in the near future. Such a visit would help promote high-level exchanges between the two Parties and further deepen the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Algeria for the benefit of the two peoples.
During the meeting, both sides also reviewed their tradition of solidarity and mutual support during their national liberation struggles. They agreed to continue carrying forward this historical legacy by strengthening youth exchanges, expanding cooperation between socio-political organizations, and promoting collaboration in the fields of economy, trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchanges in the coming period.
