On the afternoon of December 21, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search & Rescue in Binh Dinh province announced that the fishing boat KN 465 had departed from Cam Ranh port (Khanh Hoa) to support the boat 98089 TS owned by Nguyen Van Tung (Tam Quan Nam Ward, Hai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province), which encountered an accident. It is expected that the KN 465 ship will approach the 98089 TS on the evening of December 21.
On the morning of December 17, the boat 98089 TS, which carried 3 people, was operating on the waters of 86 nautical miles to the northeast of Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa) when it met an accident, broke down, and floated.
Receiving the information, on December 20, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search & Rescue in Binh Dinh province sent a document to the National Committee for Natural Disaster Response and Search & Rescue calling for support for boat 98089 TS.

Of which, 30 fishing boats are in the danger zone of tropical cyclone created when Storm Krovanh weakened.
