Dear President Phan Anh Son and Distinguished Leaders of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO),
I extend my warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of the 7th National Congress of VUFO for the 2026-2031 term.
Over the past ten years, the partnership between VUFO and the 2 Sides Project has been a meaningful journey built upon friendship, trust, mutual respect and a shared commitment to peace and understanding among peoples.

I remain deeply honored by the recognition VUFO presented to me and our organization on our last visit to Viet Nam and in celebration of our ten years of partnership. This honor represents the enduring friendship between our organizations and the many meaningful connections that have been created through our shared efforts.
Since its founding, the mission of the 2 Sides Project has been to promote healing, reconciliation, and people-to-people connections by sharing stories, building understanding, and encouraging cooperation across cultures. Our partnership with VUFO has been central to advancing this mission and has allowed us to contribute, in our own small way, to the friendship between the people of Viet Nam and people around the world.

I deeply appreciate VUFO's continued support, cooperation, and friendship throughout our journey together. Your organization's dedication to fostering international friendship and solidarity serves as an inspiring example of the power of people-to-people diplomacy and the importance of building bridges of understanding.
As VUFO begins this new chapter following the 7th National Congress, I extend my heartfelt wishes for continued success, strength, and achievement in fulfilling your important mission. May VUFO continue to flourish as a trusted bridge connecting Viet Nam with friends and partners throughout the world.
Although I cannot be present in person at the Congress, please know that my thoughts and sincere support will be with you on this significant occasion. I look forward to continuing our friendship and cooperation in the years ahead and to creating new opportunities to work together in support of peace, friendship, and shared humanity.
