	Vietnamese Rom-Com Movie Attracts Public Attention in Bahrain's FrancoFilm Festival

The Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism recently hosted the "Ao Dai Cycling for the Environment" event. This activity is part of the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024, held from June 24-30, under the auspices of the Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture and Sports, in celebration of Vietnam Tourism Day (July 9).

Nearly 200 participants, including officials, employees, and workers from the Department of Tourism, the Department of Culture and Sports, the Institute for Development Studies, the Tourism Association (including members from the Travel, Hotel, and Tour Guide Associations), the Business Association, the Hue Women Entrepreneurs Association, Hue University’s School of Tourism, Hue Tourism College, and various tourism-service businesses in Thua Thien Hue province, took part in the event. The event also received support from local residents and tourists.

Participants wore traditional Ao Dai and cycled through central Hue along the route: Bia Quoc Hoc – Le Loi Street – Bui Thi Xuan Street – Da Vien Bridge – Le Duan Street – Quang Duc Gate – Ong Ich Khiem Street – Le Huan Street – Dang Thai Than Street – Doan Thi Diem Street – Mai Thuc Loan Street – Dinh Tien Hoang Street – Tran Hung Dao Street – Truong Tien Bridge – Le Loi Street – Bia Quoc Hoc, covering approximately 8 kilometers.

According to the leaders of the Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism, the event aimed to encourage local residents and tourists to join the community sports movement, improve health, and strive towards a "Green – Clean – Bright" Hue, while promoting the title "Hue – ASEAN Clean Tourism City."

The event also provided an opportunity for tourism-service businesses in Thua Thien Hue province to meet, interact, and showcase their beautiful images, collectively promoting tourism development.

"The event was lively, garnering significant attention from residents and tourists, contributing to the spread of the beautiful image of 'Hue – Ao Dai Capital,' 'Hue – ASEAN Clean Tourism City,' and aiming to build 'Hue – Bicycle City.' It also raised community awareness about environmental protection," said the Director of the Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism Nguyen Van Phuc.
