California’s State Treasurer: California to Enhance Cooperation with Vietnam
On November 13, in Hanoi, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai received the State Treasurer of California Fiona Ma and businesses from California state during their working visit to Viet Nam.

Vice NA Chairman emphasized that the cooperation between the two legislative bodies is an important component in the overall Viet Nam - US relationship.
He hopes that the two legislative bodies will continue to cooperate more closely through dialogue mechanisms and policy exchanges, thereby contributing to enhancing mutual trust and understanding, as well as continuing to foster friendship between the people of the two countries. Vice NA Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai believes that there is great potential for further cooperation between Viet Nam and the state of California, especially in the fields of science and technology, innovation, etc.
California’s State Treasurer affirmed her commitment in enhancing the friendship and effective and substantive cooperation with Viet Nam in the fields that are the strengths of California, especially in the fields of green growth, climate change response and sustainable development, renewable and new energy, etc.
