Strengthening business connectivity, promoting economic, cultural and educational cooperation, and preparing activities to mark the 34th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Armenia are among the key priorities identified by the Viet Nam-Armenia Friendship Association for the second half of 2026.

As part of a program to strengthen connections between localities in Vietnam and Thailand, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Khon Kaen paid a working visit to the leadership of Roi Et Province and participated in local cultural activities from June 5-6, 2026.

On June 8 in Hanoi, a delegation from the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association, led by Nguyen Dac Vinh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Culture and Society, and President of the Association, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Sonexay Siphandone on the occasion of the Lao leader’s official visit to Vietnam and his participation in the ASEAN Future Forum 2026. At the meeting, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone affirmed that the Party, State, and people of Laos consistently attach great importance to and give top priority to preserving and promoting the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic connectivity with Vietnam.
