Accordingly, the cooperation will include a project on increasing the nation’s ability to respond to climate change, mitigating and controlling greenhouse waste generation and a project on supporting the national greenhouse gas inventory system.
During the reception, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai appreciated the results of cooperation in response to climate change between the agencies from both countries, expressing his hope that the two sides would increase cooperation in the area, build a global framework on climate service, and support the building of a technological climate change forecast system and a legal framework on climate change.
Ambassador Giles Lever presented some proposals on the cooperation with the Deputy Prime Minister, especially in preparations for the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 21) to be held in late November in France – the most important event in international negotiations on climate change./.
