Coast Guard Region 2 Command Hosts Philippine Coast Counterpart
Earlier this week, in Nui Thanh, a delegation of the Philippine Coast Guard visited and exchanged with officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command.

The delegation arrived on April 16 and is led by Rear Admiral Joeven L. Fabul - Deputy Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard.

Speaking at the exchange, Major General Tran Quang Tuan, Commander of Coast Guard Region 2, noted that this is the first time the Philippine Coast Guard has sent a ship to visit Vietnam. It is an opportunity for officers and employees of the two forces had a chance to gain mutual understanding and exchange experiences and practices in law enforcement at sea.
The visit contributes to strengthening the relationship of friendship, cooperation, knowledge, and trust between the Vietnam Coast Guard and the Philippine Coast Guard.
