The gifts, delivered to recipients on August 29, aimed to make sure no student is being sent home for lack of school supplies, or writing tablets, due to poverty.
The handover ceremony was held with the assistance of Vinh Long province Union of Friendship Organizations and schools of benefited students.
Children of Peace International (COPI) was founded in 1993. Its primary objective was to provide aid to state-operated orphanages in all of Vietnam. In the last 25 years, COPI has extended its target group, reaching hands to more needy children, such as those living in remote areas, poor kids./.
