On April 22, Hoi An held the opening ceremony of "Korean Cultural Days in Quang Nam, Hoi An 2022," which lasted until April 23.

Quang Nam has strong exchanges with South Korean localities in many fields. Hoi An city is also loved by South Korean tourists. Starting from 2017, the Korean Embassy ​​and cultural center have continuously coordinated with Quang Nam to organize "Korean Cultural Days in Quang Nam." Hoi An has always been chosen to host the event.

From April 22 to 23, at An Hoi Statue Garden in Hoi An City, Quang Nam, and Hoi An People's Committees coordinated with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam and the cultural center to hold many exciting activities, promising to bring new colors to this year's series of events.

Truong Thi Ngoc Cam - Director of Hoi An's Center for Culture - Sports and Radio - Television said: "The series of events respond to the National Tourism Year - Quang Nam 2022. Kpop dance and Taekwondo events took place from 4:30 to 18:00 on April 22, with performances. will join the Taekwondo performances.

The culinary quintessence of Hoi An - South Korea will be introduced through the Food Space, which lasted from 5 pm to 9 pm on April 22 and 23. At the Food Space, South Korean street food will be sold alongside Hoi An traditional dishes.

A costume show was held at 7 pm, on April 22 where Cau Cua became a runway for charming Hanbok and graceful Ao Dai. Hoi An also held tours to the old town, traditional craft villages, and historical destinations.

The closing ceremony took place at 7:30 pm on April 23 at An Hoi Statue Garden Stage. The event featured unique Vietnamese - South Korean art performances with the participation of singers, music bands, and dance groups of both Vietnamese and Korean nationalities.
