Cultural Exchange - Friendship Program 2025 Takes Place in Ho Chi Minh City

There were many diplomats attending, such as Philippine Ambassador to Vietnam Meynardo Los Banos Montealegre, along with Consuls General, Deputy Consuls General and representatives of Consulates General of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, UK, Russia, and Cuba.
The program introduces more than 20 unique art performances, imbued with the traditional cultural identities of many countries, contributing to creating a lively and colorful exchange space.

Speaking at the event, Ho Xuan Lam, Vice President - General Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations noted that the program is within the framework of people-to-people foreign cooperation for the period 2023-2025 between this unit and Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area. It aims to enhance understanding and connection between the Vietnamese people and international friends, thereby contributing to spreading the image of the country.
"Culture and arts are an important bridge in people-to-people diplomacy, not only expressing the unique identity of each nation but also helping to strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding between countries," said Ho Xuan Lam.
He believes that the program will help convey a positive message about a friendly and open Vietnam. Also, it creates opportunities for exchange and learning for the foreign community living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to promoting peace, cooperation and development.
