As part of her working visit to Dodoma, the administrative capital of Tanzania, Vietnamese Ambassador to Tanzania Vu Thanh Huyen attended the inauguration ceremony and officially handed over a Smart Computer Lab to Kiwanja cha Ndege Dodoma CC School.

The computer lab was sponsored by Halotel under the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs aimed at supporting educational development, expanding access to information technology, and promoting digital transformation in Tanzania.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen highlighted the long-standing friendship and steadily growing cooperation between Vietnam and Tanzania. She described Halotel as a prominent symbol of economic and technological collaboration between the two countries, while reaffirming the commitment of Vietnamese enterprises in Tanzania to pursuing development alongside social responsibility.

The Ambassador noted that the Smart Mini-Lab system and accompanying Internet connectivity would enable more than 800 students to access digital knowledge, enhance their technological skills, and better prepare for future opportunities.

Representatives of Tanzania’s Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Party, and the school’s management board highly appreciated the support provided by Vietnam and Halotel. They also affirmed their commitment to effectively managing and utilizing the donated facilities and equipment to enhance teaching and learning activities.

The event further underscored the commitment of Vietnam and Vietnamese enterprises to supporting Tanzania’s socio-economic development, particularly in the areas of education, digital transformation, and the development of young human resources.
