Da Nang People’s Committee requires all facilities to fully abide by preventive measures against the novel virus.
The Vice-Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee was quoted by VNE as saying that the resumption was allowed after the central city has put Covid-19 infection risks under control.
On Thursday, the last COVID-19 patient in Da Nang was declared virus-free and discharged from hospital. Da Nang had virtually “wiped out” the coronavirus after 60 days.
The city will continue to implement the 5K (Masks – Disinfection – Distance – No gathering – Health declaration) at all offices, educational facilities, manufacturing sites under the Ministry of Health’s guidelines. Residents are warned to put on face masks whenever they’re out, communicating, and working; wash their hands regularly with soap or hand sanitizers.

The Ministry of Health noted that since July 24, Da Nang reported a total of 389 COVID-19 patients, of which 31 were pronounced dead, all the remaining were recovered and discharged from hospitals. |
