Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Vice President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, announced Decision 22-QĐ/ĐUMTTQ, CĐTTW dated February 10, 2025 of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and organizations at the Central level on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations; Decision 23-QĐ/ĐUMTTQ, CĐTTWW dated February 10, 2025 of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations at the Central level on the appointment of members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations for the 2020-2025 term.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations for the 2020-2025 tenure consists of 11 members, the Standing Committee consists of 3 members. Phan Anh Son, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations for the 2020-2025 tenure. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Vice President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, was appointed to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

At the Conference, Phan Anh Son informed the results of the 13th Party Central Committee Conference in January 2025 and thoroughly grasped a number of resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Committee, including the Resolution 59-NQ/TW of the Politburo on international integration in the new situation; Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

5 Key Tasks of People's Diplomacy in 2025 On January 6 in Hanoi, the Central Commission for External Relations held a conference to review people-to-people diplomacy in 2024 and outline tasks for 2025.
