The establishment of the park aims to protect the natural ecosystem, which includes a number of rare and endangered animals and plants, and contributes to stabilizing the agricultural and industrial production in the area.
In addition, the park will help to maintain the protective function of the head of the Gam River valley and the stream system surrounding the Tuyen Quang Hydroelectricity Lake. The park is expected to help boost ecotourism, increase locals’ awareness of protecting the environment and encourage them to join tourism activities to improve lives and enhance the province’s socio-economic development.
The PM asked the Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee to directly manage the park./.
