Two cathedrals in pink and purple are located in Nghia Trung Commune, Nghia Dan District, Nghe An Province. While the pink church has acquired its reputation among avid travelers, the purple one leaves tourists a peculiar impression.

Situated on a small hill enveloped by lush green valleys, the purple Xuan Yen church boasts an impeccably magnificent beauty. Previously, the church was covered in grey; however, after the renovation, it was repainted with one-of-a-kind purple.

According to the French online newspaper Journal du Net (JDN), Vietnam is emerging as one of the world’s most affordable destinations, particularly attractive to Europeans seeking a place to live or enjoy an extended stay.
In the early days of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, Da Nang consecutively welcomed international cruise ships carrying nearly 4,200 European and American visitors for sightseeing tours. The year 2025 marked an impressive growth milestone for Vietnam’s tourism sector, as the number of international visitors to Vietnam reached an all-time high, increasing by more than 20% compared to 2024 and far exceeding pre-COVID-19 levels.
During the New Year’s Day holiday of 2026 (from January 1 to January 4), Vietnam’s tourism sector is estimated to have welcomed and served approximately 3.5 million visitors.
In 2025, Vietnam’s tourism sector has not only achieved a full recovery but has set historic records, emerging as a primary engine for socio-economic growth.
In the first 11 months of 2025, the total number of international tourists to Vietnam has reached more than 19.1 million, which increased by 20.9% compared to the number of a year earlier. This number is the highest breakthrough of Vietnam, surpassing its pre-pandemic peak of more than 18 million arrivals in 2019, according to the General Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance.
Vietnam, currently implementing the Green Tourism Development Program for the 2023–2025 period, reaffirmed its commitment to building sustainable destination models, enhancing digital transformation, reducing carbon emissions, and spreading benefits to local communities.
