Surveillance Team No. 3 provided information to fishermen and fishing vessel owners on the 2017 Fisheries Law; documents related to combating IUU fishing; maritime boundary lines between Vietnam and neighboring countries in the region; regulations on installing and using vessel monitoring systems on fishing vessels.

The division also installed panels and propaganda slogans on combating IUU fishing in the fishing port area, helping improve the effectiveness of communication efforts.

On this occasion, Fisheries Resources Surveillance Team No. 3 presented 20 life jackets, 20 national flags, and 50 sets of fisheries law communication materials to the fishing vessel owners.
