Doctor Pham Van Hien, head of the Odonto-Stomatology Faculty of the Ninh Binh General Hospital said children with harelip and cleft palate should receive surgeries as soon as possible, which help to improve their health and confidence.
After screenings, 40 children will receive free surgeries from now to March 9. The programme also supports travelling and accommodation fees for the patients during their treatment.
