GNI Provides Nutritional Support For Malnourished Children In Tuyen Quang

In September 2021, Good Neighbors International (GNI) in Vietnam provided nutritional support to 84 malnourished children in Tuyen Quang Province with a total support value of more than 220 million VND (USD 9,662).
From July 6 to 9, 2021, GNI cooperated with Hung Vuong General Hospital to provide free nutritional examination and counseling for children at risk of malnutrition in Son Duong District, Tuyen Quang Province.
Previously, GNI provided nutritional support to 112 malnourished children in Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces. Each one receives support including milk, iron and calcium supplements and others for 4 months. During that time, GNI would monitor and update their health regularly.
Through the program "Nutrition support for malnourished children", GNI hopes to contribute to improving the situation of malnourished children in the project's area. Thereby, GNI can help more children with difficulties to access healthy, safe and better nutrition for their physical development through improving daily meals.

In September 2021, Good Neighbors International (GNI) in Vietnam also taught 44 lessons on "Improving self-protection capacity" for more than 1,400 students in grades 4 and 5 at 04 primary schools in Son Duong District, Tuyen Quang Province.
This is one of the activities under the framework of project named "Strengthening the support and protection system for disadvantaged children - Hope Letter Project".
Hope Letter Project focuses on providing services related to child abuse prevention, activities supporting children with difficulties, thereby creating a premise in advocacy and handing over effective form of prevention education for the localities.
