Hanoi and Austria Cooperate to Build Smart City

Some journalists come to a country as part of their profession. Some allow that country to become an inseparable part of their conscience and worldview. For Japanese journalist Nakamura Goro, Vietnam is an unforgettable part of both his career and his life.

Throughout his revolutionary life, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to people-to-people diplomacy. Not only did he lay the foundation for Viet Nam’s revolutionary diplomacy, but he also pioneered and developed a system of ideology on people-to-people diplomacy with profound strategic, humanitarian, and contemporary value. Today, these ideas remain an important theoretical foundation and guiding principle for Viet Nam's people-to-people diplomacy in the era of international integration. They also serve as the basis for the Can Tho Union of Friendship Organizations to continuously innovate and improve the quality of its work, contributing to the effective implementation of the Party’s and State’s foreign policy.

Over the course of 35 years of establishment and development, the Can Tho Union of Friendship Organizations has continuously affirmed its role as a core force in people-to-people diplomacy, becoming an important bridge fostering friendship between the people of Can Tho and international friends. Through these efforts, it has made significant contributions to the city’s socio-economic development and international integration.

Thanh Hoa province, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand and WHA Group, held a seminar to introduce Thanh Hoa province to Thai investors and businesses.
