Hanoi Organizes Artistic Programmes to Celebrate National Holidays

The programme opened with the song “August 19” by composer Xuan Oanh, reviving the heroic atmosphere of 81 years ago, when under the leadership of the Party, people across the country successfully carried out the August Revolution, seized power and brought it into the hands of the people, paving the way for the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

The programme continued with songs including “The Party Is My Life,” “He Is My Unwavering Faith,” “Song of Hope” and “Proud Melodies,” before concluding with the familiar song “As If Uncle Ho Were Here on the Day of Great Victory.”
Also on the evening of August 19, Hanoi simultaneously organized numerous art programmes to entertain and serve the people. Hanoi Cheo Theatre performed in Binh Minh Commune. Hanoi Cai Luong Theatre performed for audiences in Hat Mon Commune. Hanoi Drama Theatre staged a performance in Ba Vi Commune. Thang Long Song and Dance Theatre held an art programme at the Tran Nhan Tong Walking Street, Hai Ba Trung Ward, and more.
