The Hue Monuments Conservation Centre announced that, marking the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026), Vietnamese citizens will receive free admission to heritage sites within the Complex of Hue Monuments on August 19 and September 2, 2026.
The policy aims to allow local residents and domestic visitors to visit, experience and learn about the outstanding historical and cultural values of the Complex of Hue Monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It also seeks to bring the heritage closer to the community and promote the image of Hue as a heritage city and a distinctive Festival City of Vietnam.
Visitors to Hue during this period can also attend the Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026, an international heritage and music festival taking place from August 30 to September 1 at the City's Sports Center Square on Ha Huy Tap Street. Admission is free.
The highlight of Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 will be two major concert nights themed “Heritage Awakens” and “Heritage Connects.” The August 30 night, themed “Heritage Awakens,” will celebrate Vietnam's cultural values and identity through a combination of contemporary music and traditional elements.
The night of September 1, themed “Heritage Connects,” will feature an international electronic music atmosphere, bringing Vietnamese and international artists together on the same stage.
