Amid the complex Covid-19 situation, the Government decided to give priority of inoculation to workers in industrial parks, besides frontline medical staff, Zing News reported.

Workers were carefully screened. Due to being allergic, Pham Van Son, 33, was specifically instructed by the doctor about monitoring his health after the injection. “Instead of being worried, I feel very secure to get vaccinated,” he said.

Each dose contains 0.5 ml and is injected into the bicep.

30 minutes after the injection, Chen Tsai Fa, director of public affairs, a Chinese national, didn’t display any side effects.

“I’m very happy to receive Covid-19 vaccine in Vietnam,” he said.

On May 28, 300 workers at the Fuhong Precision Component Co., Ltd. at Dinh Tram industrial park in Bac Giang were also injected with Covid-19 vaccine.

As many as 2,500 workers at the Fuhong Company have been put under quarantine.

Vietnam entered its fourth wave of Covid-19 community transmission on April 27 and since then, 3,295 infections have been registered in 31 cities and provinces.

Bac Giang continues to have the highest infections, at 1,687, followed by Bac Ninh with 676 cases.
