According to an article published by India TV News on June 25, Vietnam has become one of the most favored international destinations for Indian tourists thanks to its combination of value for money, convenient transport links, varied attractions, and visitor-friendly services.
A separate article published by The Times of India on the same day described Vietnam as an increasingly attractive destination for international travelers, offering a harmonious blend of natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, diverse cuisine, and improved accessibility.
The newspaper noted that Vietnam boasts a wide range of tourism assets, including pristine beaches, majestic mountains, and an extensive collection of cultural heritage sites. Its vibrant culinary scene, affordable travel expenses, and the hospitality of its people further enhance the country's appeal.

According to The Times of India, the expansion of direct flights between Vietnam and India in recent years has made travel more convenient, contributing to stronger two-way tourist flows. In addition, more traveler-friendly visa policies and continued improvements in tourism infrastructure have strengthened Vietnam's competitiveness in the international tourism market.
The article also recommended several of Vietnam's most popular destinations, including Hanoi for its rich cultural and historical heritage, Ha Long Bay for its spectacular natural scenery, Hoi An for its well-preserved heritage, Ho Chi Minh City for its vibrant urban atmosphere, as well as the beaches of Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc Island.
According to the newspaper, Vietnam caters not only to leisure travelers but also to visitors seeking cultural exploration, culinary experiences, nature-based tourism, and family vacations.
In recent years, the Indian market has continued to record strong growth for Vietnam's tourism industry. According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), Vietnam welcomed approximately 750,000 Indian visitors in 2025, representing an increase of nearly 50 percent compared with the previous year and more than four times the figure recorded in 2019. This has positioned India among Vietnam's key international source markets.
The sustained growth reflects Vietnam's increasing appeal to Indian travelers while creating greater opportunities to expand tourism cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
