Japanese Prime Minister, (PM) Shinzo Abe is considering a visit to the Ukraine in early June, before attending the G7 summit in Germany on June 7th – 8th.
Japanese Prime Minister, (PM) Shinzo Abe is considering a visit to the Ukraine in early June, before attending the G7 summit in Germany on June 7th – 8th.

He will meet with President, Petro Poroshenko and express Japan’s support for a peaceful settlement of the crisis in the country.
The visit will be the first visit to the Ukraine by a Japanese PM.
Japan had pledged financial assistance to the Ukraine totaling USD1.84 billion, the largest among all other countries.
Abe met with Mr. Petro Poroshenko in October in Italy, announcing Japan’s intention to cooperate with the Ukraine government to secure stability in the country./.
