KFHI Vietnam offers Tet gifts for underprivileged children in Vinh Phuc
(VNF) - One hundred gifts on January 29th were presented to underprivileged children in Chan Hung, Thuong Trung, Van Xuan communes, and Vinh Tuong district in the northern province of Vinh Phuc ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet).

The gifts were funded by Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) Vietnam, a non-profit organisation based in the Republic of Korea. The program aims to motivate, encourage the learning spirit of disadvantaged students to rise in learning and helping them have a happy Tet.
In 2017, KFHI conducted numerous charity activities in the province at a total cost of more than VND 2.3 billion (USD 101,000). It will give 300 more Tet gifts to needy children in the locality, worth over 114 million VND (USD 5,000).
The same day, a unit under the Hanoi Red Cross Society held a ceremony to hand over nine charity houses and 200 Tet gifts to poor households and Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin victims in six communes of Lap Thach district./.
