Launch of New Tourist Train Route: “From the Five City Gates to the Land of Quan Ho”

According to the directive from the Vietnam Railways Corporation, from 8:00 a.m. on September 6, tourist trains will depart from Hanoi Station and terminate at Tu Son Station (Bac Ninh), and vice versa. The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company is responsible for operating the trains, providing carriages, equipment, and service staff.

Accordingly, the tourist trains will depart from Hanoi Station at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., passing through Long Bien, Gia Lam, and Yen Vien stations, and arriving at Tu Son Station at 8:41 a.m. and 2:32 p.m.

In the opposite direction, trains will depart from Tu Son Station at 10:30 a.m. and 4:20 p.m., expected to arrive at Hanoi Station at 11:33 a.m. and 5:01 p.m.

The train service, named “From the Five City Gates to the Land of Quan Ho”, promises to offer a unique travel experience for residents and visitors, linking the thousand-year-old capital with the culturally rich Kinh Bac region.

Passengers will be immersed in a vibrant cultural atmosphere right on board the train. During the nearly one-hour journey, integrated cultural activities will provide visitors with an experience that is both novel and familiar.

When the train stops in Bac Ninh, travelers will continue their journey to visit Do Temple and explore local cultural activities. Afterwards, they will return to Tu Son Station to depart for Hanoi at 10:30 a.m.

The directive also announced that the ticketing hotline for the Hanoi “Five City Gates” tourist train is now officially operational at 19002695, making it more convenient for residents and visitors to purchase tickets.

The launch of this new tourist train route not only introduces a unique product to the tourism sector but also represents a concrete and practical effort to preserve, promote, and showcase the cultural and historical values associated with the capital city of Hanoi and the Kinh Bac homeland.
