Meeting held to mark 90th Revolutionary Press Day
On June 19th, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) held a meeting with reporters from central and Hanoi press agencies in celebration of 90th year of the Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st, 1925-June 21st, 2015).

Don Tuan Phong, VUFO Vice President and Secretary-General; representatives from the Press Department under the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Popularization Department under the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education, the Press Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; VUFO senior journalists; reporters from press agencies at the central, Hanoi and VUFO levels.
On behalf of VUFO leaders, Don Tuan Phong sent best wishes to journalists on the occasion; thanked them for covering activities relating to people’s diplomacy of the union and its member organizations; and expressed his hope that reporters would cooperate more strictly with the union in the future.
In 2015, fine cooperation between press agencies and the union has been reported. VUFO and its member organizations’ activities have been covered profoundly on the mass media. Reporters and journalists have been willing to come to VUFO with a high sense of responsibility, delivering news through the mass media accurately and quickly, making VUFO people’s diplomatic activities known widely and receive more and more consensus and support from all classes of people in the country and around the world.
During the meeting, senior journalists such as Pham Van Chuong, Ho Anh Dung and Nguyen Van Huynh shared their experience in work with reporters.
Reporters thanked VUFO leaders for their care, saying that they hoped for trips for articles with more efficient and factual documents./.
