Mid-Autumn Festival activities for disadvantaged children held by HUFO

On the evening of June 22, Quang Tri Province, in coordination with the US Embassy in Vietnam, officially launched the Pacific Partnership - Pacific Friendship 2026 (PP-PF 26) program. The event not only helps strengthen humanitarian cooperation, disaster response, and community healthcare efforts, but also further affirms Quang Tri’s role as a destination for peace, friendship, and Vietnam-US cooperation.

Throughout his revolutionary life, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to people-to-people diplomacy. Not only did he lay the foundation for Viet Nam’s revolutionary diplomacy, but he also pioneered and developed a system of ideology on people-to-people diplomacy with profound strategic, humanitarian, and contemporary value. Today, these ideas remain an important theoretical foundation and guiding principle for Viet Nam's people-to-people diplomacy in the era of international integration. They also serve as the basis for the Can Tho Union of Friendship Organizations to continuously innovate and improve the quality of its work, contributing to the effective implementation of the Party’s and State’s foreign policy.

Over the course of 35 years of establishment and development, the Can Tho Union of Friendship Organizations has continuously affirmed its role as a core force in people-to-people diplomacy, becoming an important bridge fostering friendship between the people of Can Tho and international friends. Through these efforts, it has made significant contributions to the city’s socio-economic development and international integration.
