Moc Chau spacious tea hills
The Moc Chau Plateau in the northern mountainous province of Son La is famous for spacious tea hills stretching from one hill to another.
Moc Chau owns typical characteristics of the northwestern mountainous region and its terrain is separated by high mountains and vast valleys which are 950-1,050 metres above sea level
In early April, Son La province announced the Prime Minister’s decision on the planning of the Moc Chau national tourism area.

In April, coming to Moc Chau, tourists can visit green tea hills, the picturesque vision created by human beings’ hands.
It is also a locality with potential for tourism as it has a cool and pure climate with specialties such as tea, milk and ethnic minority cultures.
Shand tea is mainly planted here.
According to tea workers, tea hills were planted in the 1960s of the previous century.
