More cultural exchanges between Vietnam and the Netherlands to be held
Dutch Ambassador to Vietnam Elsbeth Akkerman, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung at the meeting on October 23
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to coordinate to organize an exhibition of the world press photos scheduled on December 6 and exchanged information on the F1 auto race to be held in the capital city in April next year.
Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee and Dutch Ambassador also reach consensus that Hanoi will send representatives to the jury of the contest on creative design city on Instagram to be held by the Dutch embassy in Hanoi next month, as well as leading officials to the Floriade Amterdam – Almere 2020 exhibition in the Netherlands.
Ambassador Akkerman for her side expressed hope that licensing procedure for the exhibition will be completed soon, so that it can be held as scheduled.
Chairman Chung said he has assigned the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to consider the granting of the license, and hoped for better cultural cooperation between the two sides.
