Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nga re-elected as VUFO President

Mr. Bach Ngoc Chien was elected as the Vice President and Secretary-General of VUFO and Mr. Phan Anh Son as VUFO Vice President and Head of the Inspection Committee.

VUFO President Nguyen Phuong Nga stressed that this is an honor and great encouragement for each member of the Presidium to complete the assigned tasks, overcome all difficulties, challenges to improving the quality and efficiency of VUFO's work.

On behalf of the VUFO Presidium, Standing Committee and leaders of, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nga emphasized that the Presidium of the term 2019-2024 will continue promoting its tradition, experience and the results that generations of officials and leaders have achieved, overcoming limitations and difficulties, thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing resolutions of the sixth Congress and the oriented tasks set by the Congress, in accordance with the theme of the Congress.

“We are looking forward to receiving the valuable assistance from the Party, State, the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the mass organizations and people organizations, localities, former leaders of the Union, experts, scholars, international friends and especially officials and staff of VUFO member organizations throughout the country to help us complete the assigned tasks”, Ms. Nga said.

The congress reviewed its operation during the 2013-2018 period and put forth orientations and tasks for 2019-2024.

The delegates all agreed with the Reviewing Report for the 2013-2018 period and directions, key tasks and solutions for the next term; supplementary and amended charter of VUFO term VI.

The congress also agreed 100% to elect the Supervisory Board with 5 members.
