New Cooperation Opportunity In Vocational Training with Japan for Dong Nai
At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh summarized the socio-economic situation of Dong Nai with many advantages for future development.
In particular, it is expected that by 2026, Long Thanh International Airport will complete phase 1 and be put into operation. It will create a driving force for development not only for the locality but for the entire southern key economic region, said Linh.

In recent years, the province's economic growth rate has been high and stable, an average of 8% per year. Currently, Japan has 276 projects with a total investment capital of over US $5 billion, ranking 3rd among countries and territories investing in Dong Nai. Many Japanese businesses have been in Dong Nai for 25-30 years, thereby creating jobs for more than 100,000 workers.

Linh hopes that through this working visit, it will help the two sides learn about each other's needs and capabilities, thereby opening up opportunities for cooperation in the field of vocational training.

Nguyen Hong Linh further informed that Dong Nai currently has 57 vocational education establishments. Among them, there are about 10 universities and colleges, 5 intermediate schools, 21 vocational education centers and 21 other vocational education establishments. Regarding the vocational training plan for 2024, Dong Nai province plans to train more than 17,000 people.
Kawahara Vocational School is one of the quality vocational training schools in Japan, with numerous majors such as electronics, nursing, and chefs with a high rate of students having jobs after training.
