Under the contract, Next Media will be the exclusive broadcaster and distributor for the whole pay-TV system nationwide through satellite, cable, radio, Internet, mobile network broadcasting, and public screening within the territory of Vietnam.
Along with the Vietnam Television (VTV), who holds the exclusive free-to-air rights of the tournament, Next Media is the only broadcaster that brings the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 closer to Vietnamese football fans via all media forms, including social networks.
Viewers can access the tournament in an easy and rapid manner with all of their devices.
Particularly, Next Media also purchased the public screening rights, which means any units or enterprises wishing to organise screenings of the tournament in public places must get Next Media’s permit.
AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 will take place from November 8 to December 15 with 26 matches. The national team of Vietnam is in Group A together with Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
This is the last football tournament seeing the competition of the Vietnamese national team this year, and a good chance for the team and its coach Park Hang-seo to bring home the trophy./.
