Overseas Vietnamese in Japan Offer Incense in Commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh

The ceremony took place in a solemn and reverent atmosphere, attended by representatives of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, the Party Committee in Japan, authorities of Mimasaka City, as well as a large number of overseas Vietnamese, students, and Japanese friends who Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka Nguyen Truong Son recalled the life, revolutionary career, and immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese nation as well as to movements advocating peace and national independence around the world. He emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle continue to serve as the spiritual foundation and guiding principle for Vietnam’s nation-building and development efforts, while also helping shape the country’s current foreign policy of peace, friendship, and cooperation.

During the ceremony, delegates and members of the Vietnamese community offered incense before the statue of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their profound gratitude to the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people. Many overseas Vietnamese shared that this annual activity helps younger generations of Vietnamese in Japan gain a deeper understanding of President Ho Chi Minh’s life, career, and ideology, thereby strengthening their awareness of preserving national cultural identity and maintaining ties with their homeland.
Addressing the event, Mimasaka Mayor Hagiwara Seiji affirmed that the local administration would continue preserving and promoting the value of the “Vietnam Space - Ho Chi Minh” site as a vivid symbol of Vietnam-Japan friendship.
In recent years, the “Vietnam Space - Ho Chi Minh” in Mimasaka has become a venue for cultural exchange, traditional education, and the enhancement of mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries. This year’s incense offering ceremony continued to contribute to strengthening solidarity within the Vietnamese community in Japan, while spreading the humanistic values, spirit of peace, and friendship legacy left by President Ho Chi Minh.
