This is a regular activity during the Lunar New Year, reflecting the care and concern of the Party, State, Army, Navy, and Naval Region 2, as well as the deep affection of the people for officers and soldiers who are performing their duties on the country's seas and islands. The activity aims to encourage and motivate officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties, stay committed to their missions, and fulfill their tasks excellently to firmly safeguard the country's sovereignty over its seas, islands, and continental shelf.
Colonel Do Hong Duyen noted that during the delegation’s mission, adverse weather conditions are expected in the southern waters of the East Sea, including the Spratly Islands and DK1 rig house, with high waves making it difficult to approach the rig houses. However, all delegation members are determined to make their best efforts to complete their mission and bring heartfelt sentiments from the mainland to the officers and soldiers on DK1 rig house, on-duty ships, Radar Station 590, and civilian government agencies in Con Dao District.
