PeaceTrees Vietnam Supports to Construct a kindergarten in Quang Binh
The K-ing Kindergarten Construction Project is funded to create favorable conditions for preschool children in K-ing village, Trong Hoa border commune (Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province) so that they have the opportunity to study in better, safer conditions, contributing to the implementation of the educational socialization program.

With an implementation capital of over VND 997 million, VND 600 million of which is non-refundable aid, and VND 397 million is counterpart capital, the project was assigned to the Project Management Board of Minh Hoa district's Construction Investment and Land Fund Development to directly manage and implement.
Under the project, it is expected that in 2024, a kindergarten with a classroom, storage room, restroom, corridor; electrical and water equipment; covered front yard, and concrete yard will be built to guarantee teaching standards.
PTVN is among the first foreign non-governmental organizations to support overcoming the consequences of war in Vietnam. Currently, PTVN operates in supporting bomb and mine clearance, education to raise awareness about land mines, and community development. PTVN operates in Quang Binh and Quang Tri.
In Quang Binh, PTVN coordinates to deploy activities to overcome the consequences of unexploded mines left from the war. It looks to minimize the risk of mine accidents for the people of Quang Binh through support clearance, collection, and disposal of bombs, mines, and unexploded ordnance in the province.
In addition, PTVN supports socio-economic development activities in remote and disadvantaged areas. The organization supports communities and people in Quang Binh affected by the consequences of bombs, mines, and explosive ordnance, thereby, it contributes to improving the quality of life in the provinces.
