[Photo] Assisting in the Revival of Flooded Areas
After Typhoon No. 3 passed, the people in the flood-affected areas of Northern Vietnam received timely and valuable assistance from foreign countries, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and overseas Vietnamese communities. The emergency relief gifts and reconstruction activities not only helped the locals overcome immediate difficulties but also laid the foundation for long-term stability in their lives.

In September 2024, Storm No. 3 struck northern Vietnam, resulting in severe damage: 323 people lost their lives, 22 were reported missing, and economic losses were estimated at VND81,703 billion, according to a government report to the National Assembly. On September 13-14, 2024, the ASEAN Coordinating Center for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Relief delivered three batches of emergency relief supplies valued at USD 254,000 to Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi).
