On November 13 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) held a ceremony to present its report to President Ho Chi Minh in commemoration of its 75th Traditional Day (November 17, 1950 - November 17, 2025) and the Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2025-2030 period. The solemn program was attended by VUFO leaders, officials, and staff.

Recalling Uncle Ho’s teachings on patriotic emulation—“To emulate is to love the country; to love the country, one must emulate; and those who emulate are the most patriotic”—Mr. Phan Anh Sơn, on behalf of the entire institution, expressed a solemn pledge: “All officials and employees of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations vow to forever engrave Uncle Ho’s teachings in our hearts; to continue studying and following his ideology, ethics, and style; and to remain absolutely loyal to the Party and the State, to the Fatherland and the people….”
Recalling Uncle Ho’s teachings on patriotic emulation - “To emulate is to love the country; to love the country, one must emulate; and those who emulate are the most patriotic” - Phan Anh Son, on behalf of the organization, expressed a solemn pledge: “All officials and employees of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations vow to forever engrave Uncle Ho’s teachings in our hearts; to continue studying and following his ideology, ethics, and style; and to remain absolutely loyal to the Party and the State, to the Fatherland and the people….” At the same time, he affirmed that the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations will continue to renew its thinking, diversify its operational methods, and better promote its role as the core force of the people-to-people diplomacy pillar, contributing to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, strengthening friendship between the Vietnamese people and peoples around the world, and “living up to the proud 75-year tradition of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations.” (Photo: Dinh Hoa)
