[Photos] Families Explore Traditional Cultural Values on International Children's Day
To celebrate this year's International Children's Day, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology held "Children's Day: Learn cultural heritage with kids" on May 27- 28. The event created a space for families to bond and learn about Vietnamese culture through fun activities.
At the event, children and their parents participated in the 'heritage discovery journey' through fun activities, such as playing and learning about musical instruments, practicing folk songs, and playing folk games.

This year's event introduces children to exciting technology experiences, including a "Time travel tour with kids" activity and a VR tour to learn about One Pillar Pagoda - Dien Huu.

Those who love fairy tales could enjoy hand puppet shows by contemporary solo puppeteer Duong Van Hoc. The artist taught the children to practice performing with some characters.

Besides Vietnamese traditional culture, children were also introduced to the heritages of other countries such as India, Malaysia, Nepal, Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.

Children also had the opportunity to learn about other cultures with students from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Mozambique, and North Korea. They taught Vietnamese kids simple words in their native languages and introduced their traditional costumes.
