“Pre-destined” performed for the first time at Hanoi Opera House

The performance is an art activity to celebrate 25 years of Vietnam - US diplomatic ties (1995-2020).

The event marked the attendance of President of the Vietnam - USA Society Nguyen Tam Chien, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizationsformer president Vu Xuan Hong, and representatives of the US Embassy to Vietnam.

“Pre-destined” is a play themed with the resistance war to defend the country between 1972 and 1975. The content is about the story of Joe Louis, an American injured prisoner, who was moved by the generous heart and in the good hands of Ms. Binh, a Vietnamese nurse. Unrequited love began taking his emotion. When the peace was restored, the duo took the chance to meet again and destiny brought their children to love.

Besides its deep and humanistic content, “Pre-destined” also features the eternal value of peace, the value of what is seemed small things, however, will never get in the way of war.
