The Republic of Korea (RoK) government opened bidding on May 23rd for contractors seeking the recovery contract for the Sewol ferry which sank a year ago with the loss of 304 lives, most of them students on a school trip.
The Republic of Korea (RoK) government opened bidding on May 23rd for contractors seeking the recovery contract for the Sewol ferry which sank a year ago with the loss of 304 lives, most of them students on a school trip.
The ferry, carrying 476 people, sank on April 16th, 2014 while making a turn on a routine voyage to the holiday island of Jeju.
